Customers appear here on their own, the first time someone orders from your store. You do not have to build the list; it builds itself as you sell.
Adding a customer yourself#
You can also add someone directly, which is what you want when a regular buys from you over WhatsApp and you are recording the order by hand. Phone is required; name is optional but worth adding since it is what you will recognize them by later. Phone numbers have to be unique, because that is how a returning customer is matched to their history, so if you are told the number is taken, that person is already in your list.
Tags#
Tags are your own labels: wholesale, VIP, Jeddah, whatever distinction you actually act on. Nothing in the store behaves differently because of a tag. They exist so you can find a group of people again.
Notes#
Notes are private to you and your staff. The customer never sees them. Use them for the things that do not fit a field: prefers delivery after Maghrib, allergic to musk, always asks for gift wrap.
What the customer page shows#
Contact details, address, tags, and notes, plus how many orders they have placed, how much they have spent in total, their average order, and their full order history. Open any order in the list to see it in full.
Deleting a customer#
Deleting a customer removes their profile only. Their orders stay, with the name, phone, and address recorded on each order at the time it was placed. Your sales history does not develop holes.
